This "Born to Make a Difference" design is dedicated to Curry, a remarkable Surgical Nurse Practitioner at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. From the moment we met her, she was there for us, not just as a medical professional, but as a friend, offering her warmth, kindness, and support through every step of our journey.
Curry’s kindness made our long hospital stay feel a little bit easier. She went above and beyond to make sure we knew we weren’t just patients to her; we were people. She took the time to listen, to reassure, and to comfort—things that were far beyond just medical care.
